Scrap Cooks

New Zealand has a food waste problem! Currently the average household wastes $1520 worth of food per year. That adds up to $3.1 billion nationwide. We aimed to help fight against this issue with our project, Scrap Cooks.

Scrap cooks has a guerilla-style branding approach across its zines and eye-catching inflatable banana to target students to start using their leftover food to good use. With this project we aim to create a community where students can submit their own recipes and zines.

In collaboration with Otis Hungerford
